Drawing on a vast and versatile repertoire from every musical period, Dr. Giampaolo di Rosa (b. Cesena, Italy 1972) enjoys an international career, giving concerts and master classes in Europe, Russia, USA, Latino America, Australia, Hong-Kong, Macao, Singapore and Middle East. Completing his musical studies in Italy, Germany, France and Portugal under the tutorship of world famous professors, he holds eight academic diplomas and a Ph.D. in music analysis.
Giampaolo di Rosa boasts a huge repertoire of music from every historical period up to the present day, including the complete works of G. Frescobaldi, J. Sweelinck, J. S. Bach, C. Franck, F. Liszt and O. Messiaen.
Arrangements and improvisations are always part of his concert programs. Away from the concert stage Giampaolo di Rosa is a pedagogue and founder and art director of a number of international organ festivals. Since 2008 he has been music Director for the House of Mercy at Guimarães in Portugal. In the same year he was appointed titular Organist and music Director of the National Church of Portuguese in Rome, hosting one of the largest organ series in Europe.
In 2014 he was appointed Organist in residence of the Cathedral in León in Spain, in 2015 titular Organist of the Cathedral in Vila Real in Portugal and in 2019 Organist in residence of the Parish Church St. Ildefonso in Oporto downtown in Portugal.
