Davide Mariano (b. 1988) has appeared as a soloist at the organ in the most prestigious concert halls and cathedrals in Europe, America, and Japan, including Musikverein in Vienna, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Mariinksy Theatre in St. Petersburg, Konzerthaus Berlin, Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, as well as for festivals from Rome to Los Angeles. Mariano has been organist in residence at the Sapporo Concert Hall “Kitara” (Japan) and at the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans (USA). He has gained prizes in some of the most important international organ competitions (St Albans, Amsterdam, Kaliningrad, etc.). Both as a soloist as well as an orchestra player he collaborated with renowned orchestras like the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchester Wiener Akademie, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, etc. Since 2023 Davide Mariano works as a tenured professor for Organ at the State Music Conservatory of Udine (Italy). He has studied organ, improvisation, harpsichord, historical performance practice, and conducting at the music universities of his hometown Campobasso, Vienna, Paris, Stuttgart, Salzburg, and Linz, in the classes of F. Di Lernia, M. Haselböck, M. Bouvard, O. Latry, L. Robilliard, J. Essl, G. Murray, R. Goebel, and G. Leopold.
